From paper to live: the responsible path (and where we are on it)

The most frequent question we get: "when will Kamla trade real money?" The short answer: when the public record justifies it, and not a day sooner. This article explains the path, the criteria, and where we are.

Why we didn't start live right away

We could have. Technically, executing real orders is the same circuit as practice orders. We didn't do it for a reason of principle: asking for real money before public proof is asking for faith. And faith is exactly what this industry has been overselling.

Live paper trading gives us what no backtest can: decisions published before the outcome, judged by the real market, with an auditable record. It's the phase where the system earns the right to be taken seriously.

The milestones on the path

1. Public validation on paper (current phase). The brain decides and executes daily in practice accounts, both public ones and users' accounts. Everything logged: signals, orders, results, each day's regime.
2. A sample with weight. Months of continuous operation, varied market regimes (favorable AND defensive), metrics with enough sample size to stop being noise.
3. Hardened infrastructure. Redundant execution, alerts, automatic risk limits tested in real conditions. Real money doesn't forgive "almost ready."
4. The right framework. Trading other people's real money has legal and regulatory implications that we handle with lawyers, not with haste.
5. Gradual live. When it opens, it will be in phases: small accounts, conservative limits, founding members first, with the same public record as always.

What you can do in the meantime

• Watch the record grow day by day, bad days included.
• Connect your practice account and watch the brain trade "with you," at zero risk, it's the honest test drive.
• Hold us to it. The path above is public on purpose: if we ever fail a principle, the record will be there to show it.

The commitment

We will never tell you "trust us." We will always tell you "verify." If Kamla ever trades your real money, it will be because for months you could see exactly what it does with simulated money, and you decided with data, not promises.
